The Association organizes the” What To Do About Your Brain-Injured Child ” course twice a year, a preparatory course for parents of brain-injured children for a period of 5 days.
After the course, the child will be visited and according to his needs the parents will be taught a personalized rehabilitation program.
Every six months, or depending on his needs, the child, accompanied by his parents will be at our office for 5 days and after a new evaluation will be provided with a new program.
Each parent will attend two days of conferences to understand the rehabilitation program that is taught to them, allowing them to better help their children.
The treatment is carried out exclusively by the parents because they have the amount of love and dedication essential to the desperate but lucid and rational attempt to save a human being, destined otherwise to the worst of possible existences.
The Association, in order to disseminate the research carried out by the Institute of Philadelphia, organizes an annual conference at its headquarters, and conferences on brain injury in prestigious venues such as the Hall of 500 in Florence’s Palazzo Vecchio.
The Association has never had and does not have any help from the state, it lives and works thanks to donations.
